Help Paying Rent and Utilities
The U.S. Department of Treasury’s Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) has made $46.55 billion available nationally to help renters who are unable to pay rent or utilities including an allocation of $1.4 billion to help Florida renters. “OUR Florida” is Florida’s federally-funded ERAP program. OUR Florida is accepting applications for financial assistance with a focus on low-income renters and you can visit their FAQ page to get information about eligibility and applications. Several cities and counties have received additional ERAP money and have established local programs to disburse those funds.
- The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has created a “Rental Assistance Finder” to help renters and landlords find their local emergency rental assistance program.
- The CFPB has also created a Unified Federal Assistance Portal. The Portal provides detailed information about Emergency Rental Assistance including information about eligibility and applications.

Disability Rights Florida cannot assist you with the completion of your emergency rental assistance application.
